One
transaction deadline: tba 10 AM PT. If
you are late, you will protect one less player.
You
must leave your six (6) protected players by the deadline as well as any
trades.
No
free agent picks. The transaction results
and protected players will be up on the transaction web page by Saturday
afternoon.
Once
you email in your transactions and protected list you may not change it.
Your
protection players can be any combination of your current roster or players
obtained in trades.
However,
all players obtained in trades must be protected. No money or players to be named later will be allowed. However, you may trade your 1st
or 2nd draft picks for player(s).
Only your 1st and 2nd.
All
players obtained in these trades must be protected.
There
is a limit on how many draft picks you can have in the first two rounds,>FOUR!
When
you trade a draft pick for a player you can protect that player in addition to
the original 6. Only one player extra
per draft pick. Those extra players can
come from your original roster but you must remember to protect all players
acquired in your trades. If the draft
picks cancel out (e.g. you trade your first pick and a player for a player and
there 2nd pick), then you would NOT be able to protect an extra player and
those players here have to be included in your original protection list. When I accumulate all the trades, if two
teams exchange draft picks (1 for 1) even though the trades were separate, the
picks would cancel out and you could not protect an extra player. But if TEAM A trades their two draft picks
and any combination of players to TEAM B for one draft pick and any combination
of players, 1 draft pick from each would cancel out, but TEAM A would protect
one additional player because of the extra draft pick traded away.
Also,
if TEAM A trades its two draft picks to TEAM B for one player, then TEAM A
would protect 8 players, 7 from its original roster and the one player acquired
in the trade. All these examples are
assuming no other transactions were performed.
Only
your two original draft picks may be traded away. Not draft picks acquired in trades.
You
can have no more than 4 picks in the first two rounds.
You may put one player on
your IR. The player must be out for a minimum of 8 weeks on a report
from a well-known source. (ESPN, CBS sportsline, Hockey News etc). 6-8 weeks will not qualify. This can be done on the first transaction day after the draft.
You cannot protect a player who has never played a game in
the NHL....."the rookie rule".
Trades
must be fair. I will veto any traded deemed unfair or not in the best interest
of the league. You may not make any trades unless your team
fee is in my possession.
The
league fee will be $100.
1st=$400
2nd=$100
